Ringing in the New Year with Cha Cha!

I haven't decided what to do celebrate the New Year with the kid's but here's a possibility. Rain Forest Cafe at South Coast Plaza  is having a Family New Year's Eve Celebration. Sounds pretty cool with "Knee High Buffet for kid's 12 & under, free goodie bags for the kids, sparkling cidar toast and more. Call for a reservation 714-424-9200. Anyone heard on any other cool kid friendly New Year's Eve events?

Brunch and Bowling

Need a break from the holiday shopping? Check out this great deal. The Concourse Entertainment Center in Anaheim has a great deal for unlimited bowling and a buffet brunch on Sunday mornings for $8 if you buy your tickets at goldstar.com. Shoe rentals are included for every bowler. For the grown-ups they have The Kingpin's Bar and Grill that will feature a Bloody Mary Bar for $4 each and Mimosas for just $2 each.

We had dinner at The Rainforest Cafe at South Coast Plaza last night and found out they will be having Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 12th from 8am - 10am. Breakfast Buffet, fun activities and free goodies for the kids. Raffles with cool prizes. Both Cha!Cha! and Santa will be attending. Breakfast with Santa

Mark your calendars. The holiday season is coming! I just found out that the Simon Kidgits Club members can enjoy a continental Breakfast with Santa in his honor! Membership is $5 to join the club. This event is happening at three OC Malls.

Date Night or Family Night?

I just found out that Simply Fondue is Mission Viejo has Family Night on Sunday's and kids under 10 eat free with purchase of dinner. I love Fondue and have gone several times as a date night with my husband but never really thought to bring the kids. I don't dare bring my 2 year old because of the hot pots but I think my 4 year old daughter would enjoy the chocolate fondue.

Wednesday Family Night Bowling, Pizza & More

I just found this great deal for Pizza and Bowling and more for $25. On the website Goldstar.com you can purchase this deal good at the Concourse Entertainment Center in Anaheim . The Wednesday Night Family Special  features one bowling lane for one hour, one large two-topping pizza, $5 in arcade tokens and shoe rentals for up to 8 people. It looks like this is currently available for all Wednesday's  in November and reservation times are 6pm, 7pm or 8pm.  I think I need to take the kids bowling.

Farrell's Grand Opening

We made it to the Grand Opening of Farrell's in Mission Viejo. It was crazy, loud and so much fun! A great place to bring the kids.We all had the wood stone fired pizza. The kids got to make their own at the table and had a blast. Ton's of birthday's celebrations  going on all around us with drums beating to celebrate. I had a coke ice cream float while my kid's enjoyed the chocolate milk. We ended the night with the a scoop of chocolate ice cream , yummy! I'll have to back with more people to try one of the belly busters maybe the The Pig's Trough or the Farrell's Zoo. If its your birthday remember to let them know because you get a free Birthday Sundae.

Free Kids Meals on Halloween

The new Chick-fil-a in Foothill Ranch is giving away free 4 piece nugget kids meal on October 31st to kids who come in dressed-up in Halloween costumes. I'm not if this is going on at all the Chick-fil-A.

Simon Malls - Kidsgits

 I've found a great discount program at all Simon Malls. For $5 annual fee you get a discount card that is good for various discounts at the mall. Many mall restaurants participate in the program and some even have free kids meals any day of the week. My kids and I usually go to The Shops at Mission and The Laguna Hills Mall. So far I've used the card to get free meals Ruby's, CPK and BJ's. The Elephant Bar also has free kids meals but I haven't had a chance to try it out. The discounts change monthly but a list can be found at the mall customer service booth. I think it's so worth the $5.

Woody's Dinner - Laguna Hills

Took the kids out to try the new Woody's Dinner that took the place of Island's in Laguna Hills. I was expecting another hamburger joint but was surprised to find a large menu selection that included breakfast. Lucky  for my kids since they don't like hamburgers but love breakfast. My son had the silver dollar pancakes and my daughter had the french toast. I highly recommend the breakfast and will have to go back again to try out the burger's which will most likely be on a Wednesday as that's when kids eat free!

American Girl Cafe - LA

This month my mother was visiting so I planned a special trip to the American Girl Store in LA where we ate lunch at the American Girl Cafe. This is the best place to bring little girls and their American Girl dolls. My daughter had the tic-tac-toe pizza with her favorite chocolate milk. The dolls get their very own seat to sit at. They also do afternoon tea which we will have to go back and do one day.
